Diwali Festival: November 5, 2010
Diwali is a religious 5 day festival celebrated by Hindus all over the world. It is also a public holiday in Fiji, India, Mauritius, Trinidad and Tobago.
Diwali is a beautiful Hindu festival that is celebrated during 5 days and is known as the Festival of Lights. It literally means Row of Lights in Sanskrit. It begins late in the month of Ashwin with Dhan Teras the first day, and ends in the beginning of month Kartika, the last day is called Yama Dvitiya.

All Saints’ Day is a celebration of all Christian saints, known and unknown, and especially for those saints who have no special feast days of their own. It is observed worldwide by Roman Catholics, Anglicans and Protestant churches. In Portugal it is annually held on November 1, as with many western countries and in many eastern churches it is celebrated on the first Sunday after Pentecost.

Palau United Nations Day Date: October 1, 2010
Palau celebrates United Nations Day as a national holiday. Since 1948, the anniversary of the United Nations Charter coming into force on October 24, 1945 has been celebrated as United Nations Day. Palau’s President, Johnson Toribiong, decreed that the United Nations’ Day national public holiday be moved from its usual date of October 24 to Friday, October 2, 2009. Tahiti World Tourism Day: September 25, 2010
World Tourism Day is a public holiday in Tahiti.
Tahiti celebrates the World Tourism day on 25th September every year. The main source of income of people is on this Island are tourists, that is why this day is celebrated quite colorfully by the poeple of Tahiti. This day is also a public holiday in the Island nation. This special celebration is designed to make tourists feel extra special while sampling traditional foods, enjoying handcraft demonstrations and viewing sport competitions held in Tahiti.
