Cassinga Day is a public holiday in Namibia.

Cassinga Day is an important national holiday in Nambia, a country located in the southern portion of Africa bordering Angola and Zambia (north), Zimbabwe and Botswana (east), and South Africa (south-east).

Cassinga Day commemorates those who perished in the massacre in Cassinga, a province in Southern Angola, during the battle of Battle of Cassinga where approximately 600 people were killed (1978). Cassinga Day is celebrated yearly on the 4th of March.
